About Starlight Princess Slot
We are a small independent team that writes about one series of games, Pragmatic Play's Starlight Princess, and tries to do it more carefully than anyone else.
Where our numbers come from
Every figure on this site, from RTP and max win to bet limits, buy prices and multiplier values, comes from the games themselves. We read the rules screens of the official Pragmatic Play demos and compare them with the settings the game server sends when a game starts. Where a source outside the game was needed, such as release dates, we name it on the page.
When the games' own text and the publisher's marketing disagree, we follow the game and say so. Starlight Christmas is an example: its page explains why.
How we test
For every game we run the Starlight Lab: 1,000 spins at the minimum bet, ten bought bonus rounds and, where the game has one, five Super Free Spins buys, all in the official demo, with every server answer saved. We publish the results and the raw data, and we say plainly what a sample of that size can and cannot show. We also play by hand to take the screenshots, all of which are our own, from the demos on desktop and phone.
How we score
Each game gets a mark out of 5 on five criteria, averaged into its score:
- Bonus round: how the free spins work and how much they can change a session;
- Win ceiling: the max win, from 5,000x up to 50,000x;
- RTP: the figures on the rules screen in every mode;
- Pace and clarity: how easy the game is to read and follow;
- Phone play: how well it works upright on a phone.
Scores are opinions built on those facts. The facts themselves are on every page, so you can weigh them differently.
How the site is paid for
Some links on this site, the "play for real" buttons, lead to a partner casino, and we may earn a commission if you sign up there. That never changes the facts we publish, and we never accept payment to change a score. We are not affiliated with Pragmatic Play; game names and art belong to their owners and appear here to review the games.
Corrections
Games get updated, and we make mistakes. If you spot a number that doesn't match the game you play, tell us. We check it in the demo and fix the page, and the date at the bottom of each game page shows when its facts were last checked.
